There are evenings in Calvi when the gulf takes on impossible colors. The sky turns orange, the citadel stands out as a silhouette, and the sea becomes a mirror. That’s exactly why we came up with this outing.

Setting out from the port of Calvi, our boat heads out to sea at the end of the day, when the light begins to change. We sail along the coast—past the Genoese citadel, the Revellata lighthouse, and STARESO nestled in its unspoiled cove—familiar sights that take on a whole new dimension at this time of day. Depending on the conditions, we may also approach the Grotte des Veaux Marins, made even more stunning by the warm hues of the setting sun.

A swim break is planned along the way, in water that’s still warm and crystal-clear. Then comes the moment we’ve all been waiting for—the boat drops anchor facing the horizon, and the aperitif is served. White or rosé wine, water, Coke, fruit juice, cold cuts, and bread. Nothing exceptional on paper. Exceptional in this setting.

This outing is perfect for everyone—families, couples, and groups of friends. The atmosphere is relaxed, with no rigid schedule. Just two hours on the water, a drink in hand, watching the sunset from a boat in Calvi. The only restriction: children under 2 years old cannot board for safety reasons.
